post & beam | Los Angeles
Friday night after watching “Chico and Rita” at the Pan-African Film Festival I went to post & beam in the Baldwin Hills Shopping Plaza. Waiting to be seated took a little time but it was crowded because of the festival. Total Bill was about $115 (there were 5 of us)
Service: 3 Foodie Points (waiters were switched, order and bill was wrong)
Food: 4 Foodie Points (really enjoyed the Chicken and Black Eyed Peas)
Overall Rating: 3.5 Foodie Points

First Up: Turkey Meatballs - as you can see they didn’t last long everyone was hungry ($8) and a glimpse of my strawberry lemonade ($4)
For the Main Course: Cast Iron Natural Chicken, Olive Oil Poached Garlic and Sage w/ Black Eyed Peas and Mashed Potatoes ($21)
Dessert: Apple Crisp à la Mode ($6)
